Victoria -- The Place to Be

Hello bloghoppers (wow it's been long since i used that term lolol)
! It's been a while since i'm back from Melbourne! And i'm still missing it T^T Got to travel there when i'm much older. *puts it in my life-long goals list*

Ok so lemme story-tell to ya what we did during our 6 days stay at the very awesome place with very polite Aussies ;)

1st day (1st June):
Once we touched down, our bodies started to feel the cold rush! We were all trying to do the mist effect when we speak hehehe. Well, it's our first time, aint it? Have to be proud a bit (lol typical SGeans)

Then headed to Ashcombie Maze with lunch! Imho, the lunch was the worst. It's in vegetarian. Oh come on, did you just say no meat? Dang. But the ice-cream made it up for me! It was nice ;)

After the dreadful meal, headed off to Sunny Ridge Strawberry farm! We learnt on how strawberries were harvested and even got to taste them! Awesome? Yes.

Last stop is the Box Stallion Winery! This place was a bore, really. Even the teachers were yawning hahaha So funny how they keep themselves awake by moving around!

And went to Habitat HQ for 2 nights stay! This place was naizzzeee cos we have our own personal toilets! That's a bonus for people like me who take hours to bathe!

2nd day (2nd June):
Had breakfast @ Habitat! Headed off to Yakult Factory first! The tour guide was a Malaysian and it was amusing how she could understand our "malay gossips" lol what a#paisehmoment.

Then had a long journey to Phillip Island! Went to Choco factory first! chocolate_gurl_lover_96 is me! x Bought lots of it wootz! (but now it's all finished... TT)

Went to Koala Conservation Centre after that! We learnt how Koalas mate *eyebrow* teehee And it was so cute seeing Koalas sleep! I wanna pinch them!

Our last stop is the Penguin Parade! Little Penguins are sooo cute! *waddle waddle* It took us a while to finally see them come out in batches onto the shore. Oh and there's always 1 penguin that's struggling to catch up with the team. Awwwww

3rd Day (June 3):
We departed from Melbourne and headed to Great Ocean Road! This was really a Geography-based day <3 The sea was so gorgeous! Accompanied with a few rainbows along the way... But anyway the bus ride was so farken long i felt like throwing up =\ Some ppl even had motion sickness? OoOOooOoO

Checked-in @ Kangaroobie Farm for the night! Had our lunch there first! (lol check in is so... wrong usage of word k!)

Then had educational talk & walk @ Port Campbell! This was where we got to see the Hidden Bay & 12 Apostles! But now there's only 9? Well, the waves are doing their job well over the years. But the scenery was really gooooood! Singapore only get to see small hills and rivers but there... wow. Don't play play ok!

Then, for the night activity, we went to some temperate forest i think! To watch glow worms! They really glow in the dark but the dark is really pitch black. Scary but a good experience ;)

After all the activities, we chionged to bathe! (we were labelled as the chiongers during the trip cos we can't wait to bathe hehe^^) Then since we were feeling bored, headed off to the table tennis area to watch the boys' match! Funny like freaking hell omg hahaha even reminiscing like that can make you laugh! This is one of the moments that i really miss throughout the whole trip :(

4th day (4 June):
Had half-day activities @ the farm! We were the first group to actually travel around in a carriage! We were very close with the cows and was even given the chance to feed them ;) I didn't really feed them.. more like just stood there. Cos one of the cows kinda shoved me away when i was feeding another =.= Impatient cow. Sheesh! Then the 2nd activity was more of team work. Had ropes obstacle course which were fun! :D

After that, departed from the farm and headed off to Tower Hill for some volcanic guided walk! Borrrrring~

Then had Fish & Chips for dinner <3 omnomnom! And a cute boy was serving us too ^.^ Then transferred to Apollo Bay YHA for the night! The toilet was clean :D (and as usual, we 3 were the first to bathe)

5th day (5 June):
Lol this particular morning was really drama! We had to leave the hostel early cos the trip back to Melbourne's gonna be long! And the girls were right on time, some, even early! But who knows that the boys are gonna be late? LOL BOYS!!!!! And one of them even went "missing" for a moment. And where did they find him? In the TV room. Sleeping. Awesome drama to start the day lol

Today was shopping day!!!! I REALLY SHOPPED LIKE DEAD!!! The feeling of having so much $$ in ur hands... hehehe xo First stop was a Singaporean shop that sells Nougats and other souvenir stuff! Then was Queen Victoria Market! Woot loved this place! XXX

Had Macs for lunch! We were really blur on what to order cos the menu was... wow. Overwhelming indeed.

Then went to Melbourne museum! (what a waste of time =.= should've extended our shopping trip instead!)

Then went to... idk what street it's called. But it's like the AUSTRALIAN ORCHARD ROAD HEHEHE so awesome! Got lots of branded shops lor i tell you!

Then returned back to Habitat again! Had dinner and off we slept!

Last day (6th June):
This was the most boring day ever lol. We had a dining etiquette course @ William Angliss Institute! It's useful but... meh. Dry lesson.

Lunch there too! The students there were serving us lol kinda awkward! But the dessert was really awesome! If only we hadn't had a misorder... i could've savoured the moment more.

Then we went to Melbourne Airport and had to say g'bye to our Captain Don Cruze! Really a good and awesome tour guide-cum-driver! Hope to see him again :D

(p/s only two pictures cos i can't be bothered to upload the rest of em hahahha go to facebook.com pl0x!) toodles!x
